According to Carroll ISD, Dodge is doing well after testing positive for the virus, but he will still be self-isolating when the Dragons kick off against the Panthers this weekend.

During Saturday's game, Lee Munn will act as head coach and call the defense, while Chris Smith will call the offense, Carroll ISD said.

Athletic Director Steve Keasler said the team will continue to follow all safety protocols and social distancing practices in alignment with the guidelines established by the University Interscholastic League.

According to Carroll ISD, contact tracing was conducted, and no other coaches or student athletes will be required to quarantine as a result of this case. Individual students and coaches were notified Tuesday and urged to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, Carroll ISD said.

Saturday's game is set for 3 p.m. in Arlington.

Social Distancing - Bleachers immediately behind home plate on Kruger Field and Iowa Central Field will be restricted for IGHSAU and media use. Other bleachers throughout the complex will be marked for social distancing. Fans are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. It is expected that fans will practice social distancing during their time at Harlan and Hazel Rogers Sports Complex.

Restrooms - Fans are asked to follow the facility guidelines regarding restroom use. Information will be posted at Harlan and Hazel Rogers Sports Complex

Concessions - Harlan and Hazel Rogers Sports Complex is certified by the Iowa Department of Public Health and will offer select concession items during the tournament.

Ticket Information

Game

All spectators kindergarten and older must purchase a ticket. Children not yet in school will NOT require a ticket. Cost is $10 per session. Gates will open 60 minutes prior to the first game of each day. Fans will be allowed to leave and re-enter during the day, as long as they are wearing the proper wristband. Tickets will be available for purchase onsite at Harlan and Hazel Rogers Sports Complex.
