The MAC Viper Performance is a full-feature framing fixture that delivers an output and performance never before seen in a fixture this size or one using so little power. Unlike other fixtures in this class, the MAC Viper Performance does not forgo an iris or animation wheel – they are both included. The MAC Viper Profile is a new breed of high-output profile luminaire with an exceptional feature set, superior light quality and a highly efficient optical system. It outperforms all market-leading profiles in the 1200-watt range and is even an alternative to 1500-watt fixtures. The Viper Profile is not only brighter, it is also a faster. I measured the pan-and-tilt range of the Mac Viper Performance at 540° and 270°, respectively. A full-range 540° pan move took 4.4 seconds to complete, while a more typical 180° move finished in 2.3 seconds. Tilt took 2.9 sec-onds for a full 270° move and 2.2 seconds for 180°.

The VDO Sceptron 10 is a linear outdoor-rated LED video fixture for the rental market with 10 mm pixel pitch and an extensive range of optical accessories for a wide variety of looks. The VDO Sceptron 10 is driven by the Martin P3 System Controller family for easy configuration, mapping and setup, and is also backwards compatible with DMX for smaller setups. The integrated power and data cabling allows for long daisy-chains with many fixtures per cable-run, while the power supply can be located backstage (up to 50 m away) for a clean setup avoiding messy cabling and several driver boxes.
