Graduate School Financial Award Nomination Information

Scholarship recipients will be notified in April 2021. Learn more about the available scholarships and application processes. Questions may be directed to scholarships@himss.org. HIMSS Health Information and Technology Awards. The Call for Award Nominations is open Dec. FARs and nominees may log into the online system to determine if the nominee is an award recipient after the final selection committee meeting. Please see the scholarship process calendar for selection meeting dates. FARs and nominees should use the link contained in the e-mails sent by the online system.

The Graduate School requests nominations for the scholarships, fellowships, and assistantships listed below for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Please read the nomination guidelines carefully to be sure that all of the necessary documentation is provided. Nominations must be submitted for each program by the Graduate Coordinator. See additional awards offered by the Canadian-American Center.

Apply on time; depending on the Posse city, nominations are accepted in the spring and summer before senior year begins (contact your local Posse office for specific deadlines) The Posse Scholarship is neither a minority nor a need-based scholarship. Michael J. Eckardt Dissertation Fellowship in MEIF Areas

Orange Coast College participates in a number of national scholarship programs by nominating exemplary students for significant scholarships and awards. Over the years, a number of OCC students have competed successfully for these awards and have received a total in excess of $80,000 in scholarships. Nominations close March 15. Sarah Richmond of Plaza College in Forest Hills, N.Y., had this to say about winning on of the NCRA A to Z scholarships in 2020: “Thank you so much for the surprising good news! I am happy and honored to accept the scholarship. I owe my advisor, Karen Santucci, a big thank-you for encouraging me to apply.”.
